Electrical Contracting Company in Dubai
Power and lighting installed neatly, tested fully and documented so the inspection is a formality.
What does an electrical contractor do?
An electrical contractor installs a building's power and lighting: containment, cables, distribution boards, switchgear, light fittings, sockets and earthing. They test every circuit, record the results and prepare the installation for utility inspection and energisation.
Load schedules and single line diagrams come from our electrical consultants. Rooftop PV is covered by solar installation, and standby fuel by fuel oil systems.
Good electrical work is visible in the details: boards that are labelled, cables that are dressed and glanded properly, terminations that are tight. Those details decide whether an installation passes inspection first time and whether it is safe to maintain ten years later. As an electrical contracting company in Dubai we treat them as the job, not as finishing touches.
Our electrical installation scope covers LV panels and distribution boards, cable tray, trunking and conduit, power and lighting circuits, emergency lighting, earthing and lightning protection, generator and UPS connections and EV chargers. Testing includes insulation resistance, continuity, earth loop impedance and RCD operation, with certificates issued for each board.
We act as electrical fit-out contractor for offices and shops in Dubai, and take on villas, warehouses and building upgrades. The service is part of our MEP contracting package, designs come from our electrical consultant team or yours, and low-current systems are installed by ELV contracting. Electrical Contracting: questions, answered
Do you handle the DEWA inspection?
We prepare the installation, test records and as-built drawings and attend the inspection alongside the consultant or party registered for the project.
Can you upgrade an old distribution board?
Yes. We survey the existing circuits, plan the changeover to limit downtime, and test everything afterwards.
Do you install EV chargers?
Yes, after checking that the supply and upstream board can take the additional load.
Do you provide electrical maintenance contracts?
Yes, including periodic testing, thermal inspection of boards and fault call-outs.
Do you handle the DEWA connection process?
We prepare the installation and documentation DEWA asks for and coordinate the site inspection, though the connection itself is issued by DEWA once they’re satisfied.
What testing do you carry out before handover?
Insulation resistance, earth continuity, polarity and functional testing on every circuit, with certificates and as-built records provided at handover.
Can you take over a partially completed electrical installation?
Yes, after a site survey to check what’s already in and confirm it’s safe to build on before we continue.
Do you install standby generators and transfer switches?
Yes, including coordination with the fuel oil system where a generator needs one.
Which tests are carried out on a new electrical installation?
Insulation resistance, continuity of protective conductors, earth electrode and earth fault loop impedance, RCD trip times, polarity and phase rotation, and functional checks of every board. Results go on test certificates that DEWA and the building owner keep.
