Fire Fighting Contracting Company in Dubai
Sprinklers, hose reels and fire pumps installed to the approved design and tested until they pass.
What does a fire fighting contractor install?
A fire fighting contractor installs the systems that put water or agent on a fire: sprinkler networks, hose reels, landing valves, hydrants, fire pumps, tanks and special suppression systems. After installation the pipework is flushed and pressure-tested and the pumps are performance-tested.
Hydraulic design comes from our fire fighting consultants. Detection and alarms are installed by the fire alarm contracting team.
Fire fighting systems spend their lives on standby and have to work perfectly the one time they are needed. That depends on workmanship that never gets seen: correct hanger spacing, clean pipework, valves that are supervised and open. As a fire fighting contracting company in Dubai we install to the approved drawings and the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, and we document tests as we go.
Our sprinkler installation work covers wet, dry and pre-action systems, zone control valves and flow switches. We also install hose reel and landing valve risers, external hydrants and breeching inlets, fire pump sets with controllers, and clean agent, CO2 and kitchen hood suppression. Fire pump and sprinkler system installation in Dubai finishes with flushing, hydrostatic testing, pump performance tests and support for the Civil Defence inspection.
The service forms part of our MEP contracting package and is installed next to plumbing by coordinated crews. Detection and alarm are handled by fire alarm contracting, and design by our fire fighting consultant team. Fire protection work in Dubai must be carried out under the appropriate Civil Defence approvals; ask us how this is arranged for your project when comparing fire fighting contractors in Dubai.

Fire Fighting Contracting: questions, answered
Can sprinklers be modified during a fit-out?
Yes. Heads are relocated to suit the new ceiling and partitions, following an approved design and with the zone drained and reinstated safely.
How often do fire pumps need testing?
Regular run tests and an annual performance test are standard practice. We set a schedule based on the applicable code and your insurer's requirements.
Do you install gas suppression for server rooms?
Yes, including room integrity checks, which are needed for the agent to hold its concentration.
Do you work with the building's existing fire contractor?
Yes. On occupied buildings we coordinate isolations and impairments with whoever maintains the system.
What tests does a sprinkler system need before handover in Dubai?
Hydrostatic pressure testing of the pipework, flushing, a flow test at the remote test point, fire pump performance tests and alarm valve and flow switch checks, witnessed by the inspector. Results are recorded on the test certificates submitted to Civil Defence.
