Industrial Automation Consultant in Dubai
Control systems designed, installed, commissioned and supported by engineers who write the logic themselves.
What does an industrial automation consultant do?
An industrial automation consultant studies how a process runs and designs the control system that runs it better: the PLC that executes the logic, the SCADA or HMI operators use, the drives that control motors, and the instruments that feed them data. The aim is higher output, fewer stoppages and information you can trust.
Detailed design for each layer sits on its own page: PLC consultancy, SCADA and HMI design and VFD selection. For the build itself, see industrial automation contracting, and PLC vs SCADA explained.
Plants rarely fail because of one big fault. They lose hours to small ones: a sequence that needs a manual reset, an alarm nobody understands, a drive that trips on a hot afternoon. As an industrial automation consultant in Dubai we begin by watching the process and talking to the operators, then write a functional description of what the system should do before any hardware is chosen.
Our control system design covers control philosophy, I/O lists, panel design, network architecture and the specification of PLC, SCADA and VFD equipment. In industrial automation we provide the complete cycle: systems are designed, installed, commissioned and supported. You can take the consultancy alone, or continue with our industrial automation contracting team for the build.
We work with the major platforms, including Siemens, Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi, and we stay vendor-neutral when recommending one. Manufacturers, water and utility operators and facility teams use our automation consultancy across the UAE when they need a PLC and SCADA consultant for factories in the UAE who will also be there after handover.
Industrial Automation Consultant services
Each has its own page with scope, deliverables and common questions.
What's included
Process study and control philosophy
How the plant should behave, written down and agreed before design.
Functional design specification
Sequences, interlocks, alarms and I/O lists.
Control panel and network design
Panel layouts, wiring diagrams and communication architecture.
Platform selection
Vendor-neutral recommendation of PLC, SCADA and drive hardware.
Upgrade and migration planning
Replacing obsolete controllers with a phased plan and minimal downtime.
Commissioning and support plans
Test procedures, operator training and after-handover support.
When to call us
You do not need a finished brief. If any of these sounds familiar, let's talk.
- Your line stops for reasons the operators cannot explain.
- The existing PLC is obsolete and spare parts are getting hard to find.
- You are planning a new line and need the control scope defined before tender.
How we work

Industrial Automation Consultant: questions, answered
Do you only advise, or also build the system?
Both. In industrial automation our service runs from design through installation and commissioning to ongoing support. You choose where our scope starts and stops.
Which PLC brands do you work with?
Siemens, Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi are the most common in our projects. We recommend based on your installed base and local support, not on a preferred vendor.
Can you upgrade an old system without stopping production?
Usually in stages. We plan migrations around shutdown windows and keep the old system available until the new one is proven.
Do you provide documentation and training?
Yes. You receive the program, drawings and a description of the logic, and your team is trained to run and maintain it.
What is a control philosophy document?
It is the plain-language description of how a plant should run: each operating mode, the start and stop sequences, interlocks, alarms and what happens on a fault or power loss. Operators, programmers and the client sign it off before any code is written, which is what keeps the final system matching the process.
