Can I appoint you as a design consultant only?
Yes. Consultancy and contracting are separate services. Many clients hire us only for design, calculations, a peer review or authority submissions, and appoint a contractor of their own choosing.
Which authorities do your designs go to?
Depending on the discipline and the project: DEWA for electrical loads and connections, Dubai Municipality for building permits and green building compliance, Dubai Civil Defence for fire fighting and fire alarm systems, and SIRA for security systems.
What do I receive at the end of a consultancy job?
Drawings in PDF and DWG or Revit, the calculations with their inputs and assumptions, equipment schedules, specifications where needed, and a short report written for a non-specialist to read.
Do you review designs prepared by others?
Yes. We check the calculations, coordination and buildability of an existing design and give you a written list of what can stay, what should change and why.
Do you work outside Dubai?
Yes. We design for projects across the UAE and support clients elsewhere in the GCC.
How do I get a fee proposal?
Send the architectural drawings and a few lines on what you need. We reply with scope, deliverables, programme and fee, usually within a few working days.
