What does a plumbing contractor do?

A plumbing contractor installs the pipes and equipment that bring water into a building and take waste out: supply pipework, water tanks, booster pumps, heaters, drainage stacks, manholes and sanitary fixtures. Each system is pressure or flow tested before it is concealed.

Designs are prepared by our plumbing consultants when you need them. Sprinkler and hose reel pipework is covered by fire fighting contracting. Booster, transfer and hot water circulation sets are covered by water pumping systems.

Plumbing is the trade you least want to revisit, because it ends up behind tiles and under slabs. A joint that weeps or a drain laid a little too flat can stay hidden for months. As a plumbing contracting company in Dubai we test in stages: every section of supply pipe is pressure-tested and every drain run is water-tested before it is closed in.

Our scope includes cold and hot water pipework in PPR, copper or PEX, water tanks and booster pump sets, water heaters and solar-assisted hot water, soil, waste and vent stacks, underground drainage and manholes, drainage installation for kitchens with grease traps, and sanitary ware fitting.

We work as plumbing and drainage contractor for buildings in Dubai from villas to towers, labour accommodation, restaurants and industrial units, as part of our MEP contracting service. Designs come from our plumbing consultant team or your own, and sprinkler and hose reel systems are covered by fire fighting contracting. Owners comparing plumbing contractors in Dubai can ask for references from similar buildings.

Plumbing Contracting: questions, answered

Which pipe materials do you install?

PPR, copper and PEX for water supply and uPVC or HDPE for drainage, as specified. We advise where a choice affects cost or lifespan.

How do you test a plumbing installation?

Supply pipework is hydraulically pressure-tested and held; drainage is water or air tested. Results are recorded before concealment.

Can you replace pipework in an occupied building?

Yes, in phases with planned shut-offs agreed with the occupants.

Do you install water heaters and pumps?

Yes, including central hot water plant and booster sets with their controls.

Do you pressure-test before or after the ceiling closes?

Always before — we test and record results while the pipework is still accessible, since a leak found after closure costs far more to fix.

Can you install fire-fighting pipework for civil defence approval?

Yes, installed and tested to the standard civil defence inspection expects, coordinated with the wider fire and life-safety design.

What documentation do we get at handover?

Pressure test records, as-built drawings and equipment manuals for pumps and tanks, so your facilities team has what they need afterward.

Why is water pressure low on upper floors and how is it fixed?

Usually because the booster pump set was undersized, a pressure reducing valve is set wrong, or pipework is too small for the flow. We measure flow and pressure at the pump and the furthest outlet, then fix the cause rather than simply fitting a bigger pump.
