What does pumps and pumping systems contracting include?

Pumps and pumping systems contracting covers selecting and supplying the pumps, installing them with pipes, fittings, valves, pressure vessels and instruments, building the auto control or VFD panel, linking it to the BMS, and commissioning the set at its design flow and pressure. Pump and motor repair and planned maintenance continue after handover.

Drives on pump sets are covered by VFD contracting, and pump panels report to the BMS. Fire pumps sit under fire fighting contracting; building water distribution under plumbing contracting.

Most pump problems in Dubai buildings are not the pump itself. It is an undersized pressure vessel that makes the booster short-cycle, a control panel with no duty rotation, or a suction line that starves the pump on a hot afternoon. For pumps and pumping systems contracting in Dubai we look at the whole set, from the tank outlet to the furthest outlet, before choosing equipment.

Our pump installation work covers domestic water booster pump sets, transfer pumps between ground and roof tanks, chilled and condenser water pumps for HVAC plant, sump, sewage and dewatering pumps, irrigation and process pumps. Each set is delivered with the parts that make it work properly: pressure tanks and expansion vessels, isolation and non-return valves, pipes and fittings, pressure switches, gauges and transmitters.

We build pump control panels with BMS integration in Dubai: duty, standby and rotation logic, dry-run and low-level protection, and VFD control where constant pressure saves energy. Run, trip and pressure signals go to the BMS or a PLC. Pump and motor repair, covering mechanical seals, bearings, impellers and motor rewinds, keeps existing sets in service. Fire pumps are handled under fire fighting contracting, and this service is part of our industrial automation contracting work.

We deliver complete water pumping systems and solutions for villas, palaces and high-rise buildings: duty and standby, duty, standby and assist, transfer, booster and hot and cold water circulation sets, together with solar, boiler, electric and centralized hot water generation. MEP contractors, main contractors, villa developers and facility management companies can appoint us for the whole system, from design and equipment selection to control panel, commissioning and preventive maintenance.

Circulation pumps that keep hot and cold water at the tap without long waits or wasted water.

Water booster pumping systems

Constant-pressure booster sets with pressure vessels and VFD control for villas, palaces and high-rise buildings.

Which configuration fits?

SystemPumpsHow it worksTypical use
Duty and standby2One pump runs, the other waits and takes over on a fault. Duty rotates to share wear.Villas and small to medium buildings
Duty, standby and assist3The assist pump starts when demand is above what one pump supplies, while the standby stays in reserve.Palaces, high-rise buildings and large developments
Water transfer2 or moreMoves water between ground and roof tanks on tank level signals.Buildings with underground and roof tanks
Water booster2 or 3Raises supply to constant pressure, usually with VFD control and a pressure vessel.Upper floors and long pipe runs
Hot and cold circulation1 or more per loopKeeps water moving in the loop so hot water reaches the tap quickly.Large villas, hotels and high-rise risers

The final number of pumps and the pump size come from the building's demand calculation.

When to call us

You do not need a finished brief. If any of these sounds familiar, let's talk.

  • Upper floors lose water pressure at peak times.
  • A booster set short-cycles, trips or runs noisily.
  • Existing pumps need repair, replacement or a new control panel.
  • A villa, palace or tower needs a booster, transfer or hot water circulation system designed and installed.
  • Hot water is slow to reach the taps or runs out at peak times.

How we work

Pumps & Pumping Systems: questions, answered

Do you supply pumps or only install them?

Both. We supply complete pump sets from established manufacturers, or install and commission pumps the client has already bought.

Can an existing pump be repaired instead of replaced?

Often, yes. We inspect the pump and motor, replace seals, bearings or impellers and rewind motors where that is economical, and tell you plainly when replacement makes more sense.

Why does a booster pump keep switching on and off?

Short-cycling usually means a pressure vessel that has lost its pre-charge or is too small, or a pressure switch set too tightly. We check the vessel, reset the controls and add VFD control where it suits.

Can the pump panel be monitored from the BMS?

Yes. Run, trip, fault and pressure signals are sent to the BMS through volt-free contacts or over Modbus or BACnet.

What is the difference between duty and standby and duty, standby and assist pump systems?

A duty and standby system has two pumps: one supplies the building and the other takes over automatically if it fails, with the duty role rotated to share wear. A duty, standby and assist system has three pumps: the assist pump starts when demand rises above what one pump can supply, so pressure holds in high-rise buildings and large villas.

Which hot water system suits a villa, palace or high-rise building?

It depends on demand, space and running cost. Solar water heating reduces electricity use, electric heaters suit smaller loads, and boilers or centralized hot water plant suit large demand. A circulation loop keeps hot water at the taps in all cases. We compare the options for the building before recommending one.

Do you handle the control panel and automation as well?

Yes. We build the control panel and integrate duty, standby and assist logic, VFD control, alarms and a touch-screen HMI, with signals to the BMS or a PLC where required.

What does a water booster pump system do?

A booster system raises the pressure of mains or tank water so every floor gets a steady supply. Pumps start and stop on pressure, or a VFD changes pump speed to hold constant pressure, and a pressure vessel stops the pumps cycling too often.

Do you maintain pumping systems after installation?

Yes. We offer preventive maintenance and technical support for the systems we install and for existing pump sets after an inspection.

How is a booster pump set sized?

From the peak demand flow of the building and the pressure needed at the most remote outlet, plus pipe and fitting losses and the height of the top floor. The pressure vessel is then sized so the duty pump does not start more often than the motor allows.
