When should we involve an acoustic consultant?
As early as you can. Layout, wall build-ups and plant location are cheap to change on paper and expensive to fix after construction.
Can you fix a noise problem in a building that is already built?
Often, yes. We measure the problem, find the path the noise takes and recommend targeted fixes such as sealing, isolation, absorption or attenuation. Some problems are easier than others, and we'll tell you honestly which yours is.
Do you provide acoustic reports for authority submission?
Yes. We prepare calculation reports and drawings in a format suited to consultant, client and authority review.
Will new windows stop traffic noise in a Deira hotel room?
Better glazing usually helps most, but only if the frames are well sealed and the air-conditioning or ventilation openings do not let noise bypass them. We measure the traffic noise and check each path before recommending a glazing specification.
